Concerning message from a friend

A friend sent something that sounds like they might be in trouble, being hurt, or planning to hurt themselves.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

  • Tell your child they were right to show you.
  • If the friend may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Do not wait to see if they were joking.
  • You can also contact the friend's parent if you know them and it is safe to do so.
