Who we are
FirstPhone is a product of RCG. We build tools that help families transfer digital responsibility from parent to child, step by step.
The first smartphone is a big change. Parents are asked to decide readiness, rules, settings, and what happens next, often all at once. FirstPhone turns those questions into a calm plan the family can agree on and revisit.
What we believe
Digital independence should be earned progressively rather than granted all at once or controlled indefinitely. Parents explain rules. Children should not be punished simply for coming forward with a safety concern. Rules should evolve as responsibility grows.
We do not treat parents and children as adversaries. Recommendations are starting points. The parent always decides.
What this is not
FirstPhone is not a monitoring product. It does not read messages, track location history, watch social media, or manage a device remotely. Children do not get accounts. The parent is the account holder.
FirstPhone provides educational tools to help families discuss and configure technology use. Recommendations are general guidance and should be adapted to your family, child, school requirements, device, and circumstances.
